About The Event

Ayurveda, also known as the science of life, is one of the oldest medical systems still used today in India's healthcare systems. The primary focus of Ayurvedic medicine is holistic wellbeing, encouraging lifestyle and nutrition therapies to balance the multiple facets of a person's being to prevent dis-ease.

This class will be an introduction to Ayurvedic medicine. We will discuss universal interconnectedness, the multiple influences of health and wellness between body, mind, and spirit, the prakriti (or the body's constitutions), elements, doshas, and much more. This class will be a gateway adventure into the science of life that includes step-by-step methods to introduce Ayurveda into your everyday routine based on your imbalances and body type.

What's included:

- 1.5-hour live discussion with Stephanie Lanham, MS, CNS, NBC-HWC

- Additional Q&A session

- PDF Documents (emailed) with lecture notes
